For people suffering from acne, there is relief with the use of natural treatments. Acne is the condition in which the skin develops pimples. While it is mostly teenagers who suffer from it, adults suffer from it as well. The majority of ingredients that are used in natural treatment are available readily at home or can be purchased from nearby stores. Natural treatment for acne will ensure the skin is well taken care of and pimples eradicated.

Among the most useful treatments involves use of zinc. This is an option for those who do not want to use antibiotics. It has been shown to be very effective. It can be taken in form of supplements. However, it will be important to consult a doctor before taking zinc because it is known to bring about some side effects. Some of the effects include metal-like taste in the stomach and problems with the digestive system.

Among the acne causes is lack of vitamin B5. To control this, one should eat foods rich in this vitamin. Examples of foods in the category are liver, peanuts and peas. Other than the foods, there are also vitamin B5 capsules that also serve the same purpose. Yet another option is to take the vitamin dissolved in water. This remedy is one of the most effective in acne treatment.

A popular remedy that is also known to be effective is the tea tree oil. It is an essential oil that can be applied on the affected area topically after dilution. It has an active agent that is effective in destruction of bacteria that causes the pimples. Besides the tea tree oil, raw and fresh garlic can be rubbed on the area that is affected. The garlic is rubbed on the affected area several times every day. Taking garlic seeds daily for a month also serves the same purpose.

One of the very simple modes of treatment is through use of peels of citrus fruits. Some paste is made from peels of the fruits. The paste gets applied on the lesions then washed after some 15 minutes. When the application is done regularly, the pimples disappear. The same outcome would be received if lemon juice is applied instead. Herbs like coriander and mint are very effective as well in getting rid of acne.

Paste that is gotten from herbs eradicates pimples. The herb known as fenugreek has paste that if applied to the face and left overnight will be beneficial. The paste gets washed in the morning. To get even better results, one should use a mixture of coriander juice, mint and turmeric powder.

One of the ways to ensure acne goes away is to avoid the temptation to squeeze them. The squeezing only serves to increase production of sebum. Membranes below the skin will also be ruptured. This might lead to an infection and spread sebum underneath the skin. This will lead to more pimples.

Applying honey mask to pimples is of great help. The honey needs to be applied twice weekly. It has antibacterial properties that ensures the pimples are disinfected and healed. People with sensitive skin will benefit greatly.
