There is nothing that is nagging and disturbing as constant neck ache. Several factors may lead to having pain in the nape. The nape forms a very critical part of the body and standing or turning around becomes hard when it comes to nape pain. When many people get the constant ache, they quickly turn to pain killers even without establishing the course of the ache. Many times this action can lead to serious problems. The muscles around the rear side of the neck are traumatized causing the spine and the ligaments around them damaged which cause a sting as you move around.

Avoid stretching or straining the nape in any way as this could worsen your aching. Try squeezing your shoulder blades together from time to time.
