Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as it is known is a condition of the nervous system. A condition which has been brought on by severe stress. A number of individuals experience the condition, though the numbers of those in the military and veterans is staggering at best. As such, some are now turning to a EFT Practitioner in Fort Collins to give EFT a try.

As it is considered a form of counseling and holistic health application, there are a number of uses in which the application can be quite beneficial. An excellent resource in which individuals can learn more about the application and the inventor can be found in Gary Craig's EFT Handbook published in the late 1990s. Though, it should be noted that EFT has been around for eons, just without a name or known results.

As with acupuncture and acupressure, it is a holistic health application. Yet, it can also be used in relation to psychological issues. The ultimate hope is that EFT when practiced on an ongoing basis can help relieve a number of conditions suffered by body, mind and spirit through our daily actions and interactions.

A world in which EFT is making trends by treating individuals with PTSD while also using the application to help others find comfort in relation to pain. Another area in which EFT can be beneficial is in overcoming the grieving process. When we lose a friend, relative, loved one, or even an important friendship or relationship, it is important to grieve.

Another area in which the application has proven beneficial is in relation to migraine headaches. Tapping along with other forms of acupressure are often used by holistic practitioners who work with migraine patients on a daily, weekly or monthly basis depending the severity of pain.

It is often advised that individuals looking for psychological comfort attend both EFT and counseling sessions in parallel. A number of clients having been able to work through issues related to memory, pain, or discomfort with relations to emotions by using EFT. There is generally an initial interview between client and practitioner in which these and other elements of the application can be discussed in more detail.

EFT therapists, unlike chiropractors do not treat individuals based on a return basis, most often a practitioner teaches the individual how to use EFT. One reason being that it can be a great resource to use when in public venues as it can be done rather discretely. Some individuals find that tapping to music has even more benefit than the simple act of tapping alone.

Whether seasoned practitioner, or trying EFT for the first time, it is an application which has a great deal of value. When it comes to the overall health of the population, the more people who are calm and feel better, the calmer and more peaceful the world in which we live. As such, by using this application, clients not only learn how to heal oneself but the entire planet in the process.
